Frustrated with swinging wildly or burning out after a few reps?

It’s not your fault. And it has nothing to do with not working hard enough. Here’s the truth.

ONE WEAKNESS CAN CRIPPLE YOU

If you lack pulling strength, core control, or the timing of the kip swing, every attempt feels like a strict pull-up and progress stalls.

YOU WON’T MASTER KIPPING JUST DOING DAILY WODS

Class workouts usually stick to scaled options like banded pull-ups, jumping pull-ups, or ring rows. They’re great for a quick sweat, but they won’t build the rhythm and power needed.

IT’S HARD TO KNOW WHAT YOU’RE MISSING

Without a clear progression, it’s tough to know whether to work on your swing, grip, or pulling power first, so you keep guessing and stay stuck.

It’s time to stop flailing, and start flowing.

First, you need to understand something:

If you can already do a few strict pull-ups or strong banded pull-ups, you have the foundation for kipping pull-ups. You are ready.

All you need to follow this program is:

• A pull-up bar
• A resistance band (optional for drills)

However, being ready isn’t enough. To unlock smooth, efficient kipping pull-ups, you need to develop your pulling strength, refine your beat swing, and learn how to link reps with proper timing.

You can’t advance to chest-to-bars, muscle-ups, or high-volume workouts, even though you’ve put in the effort.

You need a proven training system, one designed to help athletes just like you.

Instead of staying stuck on bands, fighting for singles, or wasting energy with poor technique, you need to train with a plan, a program that shows you the exact steps, reps, and drills to build strength, rhythm, and confidence.

Good news, you don’t have to guess anymore…WODprep is proud to introduce Kipping Pull-Up Performance, an 8-week progressive program that develops pulling power, smooth kip mechanics, and consistent linked reps so you can finally knock out beautiful kipping pull-ups in your workouts, and set yourself up for chest-to-bars, muscle-ups, and more.

Best of all: Kipping Pull-Up Performance is included inside WODprep Academy, along with the full course library, online programming, and coaching support.

Meet your instructor,

Ben Dziwulski

Over the last several years I’ve been a box owner, trainer, regional-level athlete, and perhaps my favorite – a full time online coach.

My coaching tactics have been featured in BOXROX, Tabata Times, WodNews, RX Magazine, The WOD Life, and WOD Nation to name a few. As you’ll find out, I like to teach in a crystal-clear, easy-to-understand way. Most importantly, I like RESULTS.

So if you’re trying to finally “Rx” this difficult movement, I’ve got you covered!

So far, hundreds of athletes have made DRASTIC improvements using this exact training system.

Not sure if this is right for you? Check out the FAQ’s. You make the call.

And make sure you read about my unconditional money back guarantee. I want you to join the Rx division without any hesitations, and I’m willing to put everything on the line to make sure you are successful!

Thousands of athletes trust WODprep. The results speak for themselves!

18.1 – 282 reps – all TTB unbroken (last year I had to break up 4-4). Never would have done that last year! Thank you WODprep coaches and TTB Transformed!

Justin / Verified Customer

I just wrapped up the course last week. Within the last 2 weeks, things have really clicked when it comes to stringing my TTB together. The biggest thing for me has been lat engagement – that really helped me to stay consistent throughout workout

Angelo / Verified Customer

I just wanted to say – we had strict toes to bar in the workout today and I did 8 unbroken, 24 total! I couldn’t even do one of these 2 weeks ago!

Kim / Verified Customer

Love your Open Prep videos. I am a Master’s Male Rx athlete in the 40-44 age group. This is my 5th year competing in the Open.
I have been following your tips for the last 2 years.

David / Verified Customer

Good day today! We did Annie for part of our WOD, and it was the first time I was able to do it Rx. Got all of the DU’s unbroken!

Bill / Verified Customer

After all the advice and tips earlier in the week from WODprep,
I was able to complete 17.2 with 12 BMU’s! Thank you!

Our guarantee to you!

Our guarantee to you! If you don’t LOVE this training program,
I insist that you get 100% of your money back.

Let me tell you why … I invite you to use WODprep Academy for a few weeks and measure your progress (which we’ll do inside the program). All I ask is that you watch the results. I’m confident you’ll be impressed.

I built these courses over YEARS; pulling from both the self-learning AND coaching aspects of bar muscle ups. Using things that I’ve taught myself, and things that I’ve used to teach hundreds of athletes just like you.

I’ve thrown out all the things that didn’t work, which leaves everything that actually works, and THAT is what’ you’ll find on the inside of WODprep Academy. These courses aren’t just about becoming an RX athlete, it’s about knocking down the biggest obstacle that stands in your way on the road to becoming a better athlete.

It’s about simple coaching, my life’s work. And if I can help you permanently join the Rx division…or compete…or help you beat a few of your workout buddies in the next WOD…I consider it a job well done.

So here’s my simple offer: If you don’t LOVE this training program, I insist that you get 100% of your money back. It’s simple: Join the program and see for yourself.

Got Questions? We've Got You

How do I start Kipping Pull-Up Performance?
You’ll gain access to the course, by purchasing WODprep Academy directly on the WODprep website using our secure payment platform. You’ll receive WODprep Academy as long as you’re a member and have access to the video library, rehab protocols, daily programming, educational courses plus WODprep coaching via our online training platform.
It is a specialized 8-week course designed to take you from a few strict pull-ups to cycling kipping pull-ups efficiently. It focuses on the mechanics of the “Arch-Hollow” swing, hip drive, and the rhythm needed to string reps together without stopping.
Yes. The course platform is fully mobile-friendly. You can stream the tutorials and view your daily training assignments from your phone while you are at the rig practicing your swings.
Setup is instant. You receive your login details via email immediately after purchase. You can watch the “Welcome” module and start your first session right away.
You need access to a pull-up bar (a stable rig is best for kipping) and a box for some drills. We also recommend having grips or tape if you are prone to ripping your hands.
Yes. The course begins with an introduction to the “Kip Swing Hierarchy”, explaining how we build the movement from the ground up (literally) before taking it to the bar.
The course is a complete system, but your purchase includes lifetime updates. If we add new drills, bonus modules, or updated cues in the future, you get them for free automatically.
Yes, as long as you have a stable pull-up bar. Note: Doorway bars are usually unsafe for kipping due to the horizontal force. A wall-mounted or freestanding rig is required.
No. The course is hosted on our web platform, so you just need a web browser. However, you can download the training PDFs if you prefer to have a hard copy to track your sets.
Yes. We walk you through the safety protocols, specifically shoulder engagement, to ensure you are kipping safely and protecting your joints.
I have zero pull-ups. Is this for me?
Yes! This is exactly who we built it for. We use negatives (lowering yourself slowly), static holds, and banded progressions to build the strength for your first rep from scratch.
Yes. Going from 1 to 5 reps requires a different approach than going from 0 to 1. We have specific volume cycles to help you break through plateaus and build muscular endurance.
Yes. While weight loss helps with relative strength, you can build absolute pulling strength at any size. We use scaled ring rows and box-assisted drills to ensure you can train safely regardless of body weight.
Yes. We have helped thousands of women get their first strict pull-up. The biomechanics are the same for everyone; we just scale the starting point to match your current strength level.
Kipping with pain is a bad idea. We include a “Shoulder Prep” module to help you warm up correctly. However, if you have an acute injury, we recommend focusing on strict strength and rehab first.
This is a one-time purchase, so you own it forever. Once you master kipping, you can add the Butterfly Pull-Up Breakthrough course to your library to learn the advanced speed technique.
Absolutely. A stronger strict pull-up means a stronger kip. By building your lats and shoulders, you will have more control over the kipping movement and generate more power.
The program is designed as an 8-week progressive cycle. We strongly recommend following the weeks in order, as the timing drills build upon each other. Skipping steps often leads to bad habits returning.
We do not offer a free trial for single courses, but we do offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you do the work and don’t improve your kipping capacity, we will refund you.
Yes. Strict work is much lower impact than kipping. It builds joint health and stability, making it the perfect starting point for older athletes who want to protect their shoulders.
How often should I train?
The sessions are designed to be done 2-3 times per week. They are short accessory sessions (about 15-20 minutes) meant to be done in addition to your regular training, ideally before you are too fatigued.
Rhythm is a neurological skill. Many athletes have “aha!” moments within the first 2-3 weeks of drilling the proper beat swing. Building the stamina to string large sets takes the full 8-week cycle.
We use floor drills (Hollow/Arch rolls), bar drills (Beat Swings, Knee Raises), and specific “Push Away” drills to teach the horizontal momentum needed to reset for the next rep.
If you are a member of WODprep Academy or purchase a coaching upgrade, you can upload videos for analysis. Otherwise, the course provides detailed “Common Faults” videos so you can self-diagnose.
You track your progress by mastering the drills in each module and testing your “Max Unbroken Set” at the beginning and end of the course.
Yes. Every single drill comes with a high-quality video demonstration explaining exactly where your shoulders, hips, and feet should be during the swing.
Yes. The Beat Swing is the foundation for almost all gymnastics movements on the bar. Improving your kip for pull-ups will directly translate to better Toes-to-Bar and Bar Muscle-Ups.
Just pick up where you left off. Do not try to rush. Rhythm takes patience to build. It is better to have 2 good sessions a week than 4 sloppy ones.
Yes. We start with small, controlled swings and gradually increase the amplitude and volume as your control improves. We don’t ask you to do 50 reps on Day 1.
Yes. You can connect with other athletes in the course comments or the main WODprep community group to share your wins and get encouragement.
What’s the cost?
Individual courses are found inside WODprep Academy, which starts at $59 per month!
No. It is a one-time purchase. You pay once and keep the course forever.
Yes. We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you put in the work and still can’t kip or link reps, we will refund your money no questions asked.
There is nothing to cancel since there are no recurring fees.
We often bundle this course with “Strict Pull-Up Strength” or include it in WODprep Academy for a monthly rate.
No need. You have lifetime access, so you can take a break for injury or life events and come back whenever you are ready.
You get the full 8-week training plan, the “Beat Swing Masterclass,” mobility protocols for overhead position, and the complete video library.
Yes. If you struggle with the self-paced format, you can hire a WODprep 1-on-1 coach to guide you through the process personally with video review.
Yes. You can earn commissions by referring friends via our Ambassador program.
No need to worry for a one-time purchases.
What is the difference between Kipping and Butterfly?
Kipping uses a horizontal “pause” to reset momentum, making it great for building stamina and rhythm. Butterfly is a continuous circular motion used for speed. You should learn Kipping first as it builds the foundational mechanics.
No. In CrossFit, a pull-up is defined by starting at full extension and getting your chin over the bar. Kipping is simply the most efficient way to do work (Force x Distance) quickly. It is a gymnastic skill, not a strict strength isolation exercise.
Ripping usually happens because you are gripping the bar wrong or re-gripping mid-set. We teach you how to use a “knuckle-over” grip and how to maintain tension so your hands don’t slide and tear.
he secret is the “Push Away.” At the top of the rep, you must actively push yourself away from the bar to fall back into the hollow position. Most people just drop straight down, which kills their momentum. We drill this specific mechanic.
We generally advise against using bands for kipping. Bands can create a weird, unnatural bounce that throws off your rhythm. We prefer using box drills or spotting to learn the motion.
Slightly wider than shoulder-width. Too wide limits your lat engagement; too narrow makes it hard to get your chin over the bar.
These are the two shapes you must master. Hollow (dish shape) creates tension in the front; Arch (Superman shape) creates tension in the back. Rapidly snapping between these two positions generates the power for the kip.
This is often due to “dumping” into the bottom of the swing with loose shoulders. We teach active shoulder engagement (pulling down on the bar) throughout the entire movement to protect the joint.
Yes, but differently than strict work. It builds explosive power and muscular endurance in the lats, grip, and core.
For skill work, rest as long as you need to be fresh (usually 90-120 seconds). Quality is more important than fatigue when learning a new motor pattern.
