12 Min AMRAP:
10 DB Hang Clean & Jerks (5 per arm), load: 50/35lbs
12 Toes-to-Bar
15 Wall Balls, 20/14lbs
WODprep Strategy Top Tips:
Warm-up (10 minutes): The Wall balls and toes to bar will take the biggest chunk of time here. Warm up with some goblet squats and some bar hangs. From there, hit some wall balls, and some V-ups, building into that toes to bar. Finish with the dumbbell to get warm on the clean and jerks.
Stimulus: Volume building and pacingÂ
Strategy: Aim for smooth transitions, especially between the clean and jerks and toes-to-bar. Avoid failure by breaking up movements early if needed, especially the toes-to-bar. It may be smarter to break the wall balls more than you think, or have a plan to start breaking.
- Toes to Bar– Aim for smart sets here, and breaking at the right time as you get to those larger rounds if needed.Â
- Wall Balls –Â If you can hold onto the wallball for unbroken sets, then solid. If not, then let’s go for smaller sets with shorter rest, which will allow yo to recover on the dumbbell, so you can get back to the toes to bar faster.Â
