3 Rounds for Time50/40 Calorie Row10/8 Muscle Ups*be smart don’t go too big early, or push the row too hard
WODprep Strategy Top Tips
Round 1: Start off easy on the rower – find that sweet spot with a steady pace, don’t go all out just yet. Think controlled pulls and smooth breathing. When it comes to those muscle-ups (10/8), break them down early on. Hit sets of 3 or 4, take quick breathers – we’re in it for the long haul. Quick breather in Transition 1, catch your breath, and shake out those arms.
Round 2: Keep the rowing vibe from round one – no need to be a hero here. Consistency is our best friend. Muscle-ups (10/8) – check in on that fatigue level.Maybe stick to sets of 2 or 3 to save the real firepower for the grand finale. Take a bit longer in Transition 2 to manage fatigue – focus on breathing and shake off any tension.
Round 3: It’s the home stretch! Pump up the rowing pace a bit, but don’t blow your load too soon. Gradually dial it up as the end comes into sight.Muscle-ups (10/8) – break ’em down smart. If you’ve got the juice, pick up the pace a tad. Smooth transitions between reps, and let’s finish this beast strong!
