Sure, running’s not everyone’s favorite, but if you completed 23.2 CrossFit Open workout then you’ll know running and weightlifting WILL come up. No matter what level you’re at, when it comes to competition, you’ll always default to your training and nutrition on how well you perform. So if you don’t want to be disappointed by the leaderboard, then make sure you hit this.
To win this workout, set out on the run and a fairly medium pace. The aim is to not go slow and practice breaking up the barbell cycling when your heart rate is high. You want to be able to hit sets of 5 consistently. If you find yourself stopping for too long, drop it down and go 2 s and 3s. Don’t be afraid to scale it right back and hit singles.
