Jerk (165lb / 110lbs)

WODprep Strategy Top Tips:

With less than 30 days to go before the Open, we’re going OLD SCHOOL. Today, we’re throwing back to 2011’s 3rd workout with a 5 minute AMRAP of clean and jerks.

Back then, 165lbs and 110lbs were considered heavy – now this is just standard. If Grace is a workout that you typically struggle with, then this is a great workout to be getting in some practice.

They will be made more difficult, but the fact, your grip will be on fire from the heavy barbell in around minute 3/4. Make sure to warm up your wrist beforehand and watch your back as you work through the reps.
