100m Farmers Carry
after each set @70lbs/50lbs DBs

WODprep Strategy Top Tips:

Nice and simple workout to the close the week. A descending calorie row couplet paired with a farmer’s DB carry. The focus of the workout is to hold a simple pace throughout the rowing and make sure your grip doesn’t blow up. As you get further into this workout, the farmer carry is put more pressure on your forearms, making it a thousand times harder to row.

The trick is to use your core and drive your legs on the row. This will save precious energy in your arms. If you practice this technique each week, when you get to the Open, you’ll find you’ll have the tools to adapt to any rowing workout that is thrown at you. Plus, as a nice added bonus, your cardio will be better overall.
