WODprep Strategy Top Tips:

Warm-up (10 minutes): With the length of our workout today, you will want to just get moving on a machine to start. Once you are warm, use some V-ups and hollow holds, along with some bar work to get the TTB primed. Finish with some burpee box jump-over reps to dial in the technique. 

Stimulus: Mixed Aerobic Capacity  

Strategy: This workout is a long, steady grind. Maintain a pace that allows you to keep moving without excessive rest breaks. Make sure in the TTB you are using a strong kip to save grip and core. Aim for a sustainable pace on the machines and the burpees.

  • Toes to Bar: Engage your shoulders and core to initiate the movement, and use a controlled kip to bring your feet up to the bar. Focus on a strong, steady rhythm and avoid swinging excessively to maintain efficiency and reduce fatigue.

  • Calorie Echo Bike: Maintain a steady and controlled pace, using both your legs and arms to maximize power output. Focus on a smooth, consistent pedal stroke and keep your breathing steady to optimize calorie burn.

  • Burpee Box Jump Overs: Keep your burpees quick and explosive, minimizing time spent on the ground. For the box jumpovers, use a powerful jump and a soft landing to reduce impact on your joints. Aim to transition smoothly from the burpee to the jump to maintain a high pace.
