Triple Bogey

Every 3:00 x 5 rounds

50 double unders
10 Dual Dumbbell Shoulder to Overhead, 50/35lbs
8 burpees over the DBs
6 DB box stepovers to 20″ box

For each round add 2 stepovers. If you don’t finish the reps in the round, drop back to 6 reps

WODprep Strategy Top Tips:

Warm-up (10 minutes): Use the rope to get warm with some single under. Then, hit some calf raises to get the legs warm between all the rope and step ups. Finally warm up some overhead with some lighter shoulder presses

Stimulus: Leg stamina

Strategy: With the structure of our piece today, you will want to make sure to pace it well from the first round. the double under and shoulder to overhead should be unbroken so make sure it’s a weight that will allow you to move quickly onto the burpees. The stepovers will get more difficult, so make sure they are tough yet manageable.

  • Dumbbell Box step up- With increasing step-ups, form and efficiency will be the keys here. Focus on keeping the arms long, and breathing. Try to get off the box as quickly as you can, either sticking tight to the box or using some mentum of the arms if that helps you. 

  • Double under – The Double unders are increasing today, so make sure you are pacing accordingly. If you are building double under volume, planned breaks may help. Finsd a point above your eye line, relax your fae and shoulders, and make the motion come at the wrist.
